1968 Ford Mustang Fastback Bullitt Tribute
If its a "Bullitt" tribute car you are looking for, you'd be hard pressed to find one as accurate and more meticulously prepared than this one.
Unlike many 1968 Mustangs that pay homage to the 1968 Steve McQueen Classic, they may have dark green paint, but the similarities to the actual Movie Car end there! NOT THIS CAR!

Study the detailed video footage of the real Mustang Fastback Bullitt which sold for $3.4 million dollars at Mecum Auctions in January.
Look at the many differences between it and a factory 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback and we can document over 20 unique exterior and interior nuances between the two cars, all unique to the Bullitt.
Look over the rear back-up lights deleted with metal, the painted markers bezels, the blacked out rear tail panel, the blacked out rear gas cap, the Torq Thrust style rims, the side fender and grill emblems being removed, the correct Hurst 4-Speed shifter, the painted 3-spoke steering wheel with the GT500 center cap, the correct California Black Plate, the dual exhaust valance and single tips, the deluxe wood-grain interior, functional hood-mounted turn signals, a 8000 rpm tach, the 120 mph speedo, a clock in the cluster, the passenger side mirror removed and the list goes on and on....exactly like the movie car.
This flawless Exterior was professionally finished in the Bullitt correct Dark Highland Green Ford paint color.
The panels are deadly straight and the body gaps are even throughout.
All the areas of the car like the door and trunk jambs were finished with care.
The underside of the hood and trunk lid are pristine like the top.
The trunk is factory correct.
The hood, doors and trunk lid open and close with minimal effort.
The directional lights in the hood are in working order.
The outside glass is all in great shape.
All the exterior trim, stainless, chrome and emblems, mirrors, door handles etc have been fully refinished or replaced.
The Big Block engine compartment is period-correct and highly detailed right down to the factory decals.
The freshly restored 390CID V8 Big Block - looks menacing.
It was built with high performance upgrades (not evident) which we would estimate add about 80-100 HP more than the factory issue.
The 4-Speed transmission is rebuilt and smooth and responsive.
The new Holley carb and Electronic Pickup (no points) and thermal fan clutch ensure dependable and reliable performance.
If the Exterior is appealing to you, then the Interior
is going to seal the deal.
Its been restored to nearly as-new specifications.
Finished in Black, the interior seats, door panels, headliner, carpet, gauges, trim, hardware, steering wheel are all new and perfect.
Even the clock works and keeps perfect time.
The rear fold-down seat as per the factory option.
It has an Original 1968 Mustang radio.
The chassis and underside is meticulous primer under-belly, as they were shipped from factory.
All the suspension components, fuel tank and lines, brakes and lines, and exhaust either restored or replaced.
The under-side has been prepared and detailed to a high level which is rarely tackled on such a restoration.
The floors, rocker panels, pinch welds, and rear-end are rock solid.
The wheels are new and the Good Year tires are brand new!
You can turn the white lettering in like on the Movie Car or leave them out like we decided to do = since we just prefer that tire look.
It has been fully tested with 10 miles break-in-miles and is ready for a new owner and the next car show where it will certainly take home
